The Hard Truth: My Journey into Creativity as a Woman

When I first stepped into the creative industry, I was fueled by excitement, ideas, and an undeniable passion. But I quickly realized that being a woman in this space came with unexpected challenges. I faced misogyny, dismissiveness, and a lack of mentorship, all of which made me question my place in an industry I loved so much.

There were moments when I wondered:

I struggled with self-doubt, imposter syndrome, and the loneliness that often comes with carving out your own creative path—fighting to keep my spark alive. And while I eventually found my footing—through sheer determination, resilience, and an unwavering belief in my vision—I knew deep down that it shouldn't have to feel this isolating or difficult.

The Turning Point: Why I Knew Something Had to Change

At some point, I realized that my journey could have been faster, more enjoyable, and far less lonely if I had access to a community—a space where creative women uplifted each other instead of competing, where honest conversations about business, creativity, and self-worth were encouraged, and where practical advice was shared openly.

I wanted a space where women could see themselves in each other’s stories and feel empowered to dream big, take risks, and trust their creative instincts.

And when I couldn’t find exactly that, I did what creative women do best: I created it myself.
